Science can sometimes take a different way of thinking about topics, which can be daunting for students. Add a math component to that, and it can leave students feeling completely overwhelmed. When this happens, the most powerful resource a student can have is a science tutoring expert who can recognize what is not connecting and help the students find other ways to understand and apply the material. Our science tutors are here to help students build confidence in themselves as they learn methods that work best for them.
We often find that the chemistry classes at the University of Arizona are the classes students struggle with the most. Both general chemistry and organic chemistry are seen as “weed out” courses for many medical track disciplines. We have created special programs to support students through their general and organic chemistry courses that are specific to the University of Arizona. These programs are exactly in line with the UA course, taught by teachers who know both the classes and the professors well.

Chemistry 151, or “Chemical Thinking” at the University of Arizona has quite the reputation. It’s often referred to as a “weed out” class for freshmen and sophomores.

Two of the more challenging science classes students take at University of Arizona – usually during their freshman or sophomore year – are microbiology, MCB 181, and ecology, ECOL 182. We have created a special program to support students through these courses that is specific to the U of A. This program is exactly in line with the U of A courses, taught by teachers who know both the classes and the professors well.
We offer private tutoring for your college science courses, including physics, biology, physiology, anatomy, chemistry, and the DNP/CRNA biosciences course. Our private tutors are expert science teachers who know not just one, but multiple ways to explain each of the concepts, as well as different tools to help you learn how to apply the material. We offer both in person and online tutoring for college science courses.
Sometimes science in high school is just hard. Not only are the concepts complex, but students have to be able to apply the concepts to answer difficult questions. We often find that high school students struggle in making the connection between understanding and application. Our tutors can support students in high school physics, chemistry, biology, anatomy, and computer science. We also can help students prepare for their AP science exams.
